Sivakarthikeyan was attacked by an angry mob at Madurai International airport. The reason for the attack is unclear, Reports says that Kamal fans attacked Siva Karthikeyan after making fun of legendary actor Kamal in his upcoming movie. Kamal Haasan, Sivakarthikeyan and Hansika Motwani attended a college function in Tiruchendur and the incident has happened when the actor came out of the Madurai Airport.
It was initially said that the reason behind the attack was because of some derogatory statements that was made by Sivakarthikeyan about Kamal Haasan, but later those allegations were ruled out.
